Dual Guinness World Record Holder Parvaneh Moayedi from Iran is racing to be the first woman in world to complete 1000 official marathon distance by December 31, 2016.
Parvaneh Moayedi immigrated to the United States from Iran in 1979. She ran her first marathon in 2000 and so far has completed over 919 marathons and ultras in all fifty states 4 times and has finished marathons in over 20 countries. She finished running a marathon in all seven continents by 2011 in Tanzania, Africa. She is the leading female in world with the most life time official marathons and ultras.

Whitney, CA with a 48 hour time limit in temperatures up to 130F. It is the most mentally and physically demanding and extreme running race offered anywhere on the planet.
